In Valthermond, a village in Drenthe, Holland, lies the farm 'Onder de Linden', property of Rian de Waal and his wife, the singer Marion van den Akker. It is a completely renovated concert farm where De Waal retreats to study and rest.
The Classic in ‘t Veen Foundation organises approximately ten chamber music concerts per year.
